Representative Project Experience:
- Lead GIS Specialist on a $12 million dollar ADWEA Enterprise
GIS project in the United Arab Emirates. Duties included the establishment
of a GIS Helpdesk and integrating this with existing helpdesk facilities
within ADWEA and its affiliate companies; preparing an ArcGIS viewer
application and display materials for use with training, and providing
assistance in the coordination and implementation of a comprehensive
training program for some 300 staff
- Process Leader - GIS Projects for the Department of
Minerals and Energy, Perth, Western Australia: Coordinated and supervised
the activities of nine GIS professionals. Duties included preparing
and managing an annual budget of AUD$480,000, liaising with geoscientific
staff on issues of data and projects, allocating resources and managing
timely delivery of defined products as well as prototyping new products
- Head GIS Section & A/Head Remote Sensing Section
for Ministry of Water Resources Sultanate of Oman: Duties included establishing,
equipping and managing two sections, the GIS Section and the Remote
Sensing Section. Required the preparation of a detailed implementation
plan with a budget of $2.5 million of 7 years
- Short term consultancy with the National Geographic
Society and the United States Geological Survey to examine and report
on several PC digital map capture packages
